Story behind the song
One of my favourite songs on the album, this song is a pure slice of smooth jazz (one of my favourite musical genres), if the days in Thailand are good the nights are even better, from the heady sights and sounds of Bangkok as you sit by the river watching the lights and boats go past to the lush sounds of the waves lapping against a beach fronted restaurant, the nights are warm and the odd sounds of a gecko chirping greet you every once in a while. This is a flute lead song, has a strong smooth jazz vibe and feel about it. The flute absolutely scorches along to prove that even the humble flute can rip it up with the best, complimented by a strong piano solo in the middle before the flute brings it home.
