Perhaps the verbal irony used in this reggae-style song will get the message across that thousands of women and children across the globe desperately need the help of those in power (check out the Polaris Project Web site)

Lyrics
Promise of money to solve all their troubles Take woman and child Steal and enslave them so problems are doubled That’s how they’re beguiled Chorus Turn your head and look the other way Just ignore them ‘cause that’s another day You’re too busy for now to bother You don’t have the time to keep them in mind So let them remain slaves, yeah Force and betrayal denies them true lovin’ Hurt woman and child What kind of people would beat them and shove em’ Yes treat them so vile Chorus Turn your head and look the other way Just ignore them ‘cause that’s another day You’re too busy for now to bother You don’t have the time to keep them in mind So let them remain slaves, yeah Locked in a cage all these need your assistance Save woman and child How can you sit back and don’t even listen Ain’t mercy worthwhile Chorus Turn your head and look the other way Just ignore them ‘cause that’s another day You’re too busy for now to bother You don’t have the time to keep them in mind repeat Chorus … So let them remain slaves, yeah
