Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
My friend Katelyn from NC was dating this guy, he was a real goof to her, we would talk about him, I knew her feelings on him and I knew what would happen. This is a song about that. My take on the whole situation. Almost like 'You're Gonna Lose That Girl' by The Beatles. This song also goes along with my new goal, to write 5 songs that aren't in the first person and that don't deal with me being in love. I think this is number 4. YAY. I'm turning into such a writer. Anyway, Katelyn, you'll be just fine. Play this song loud. :) PS. All my DIEHARD fans. (heh ALL) will notice that I reused the same drumloop as I used in 'Love This Loud'.
