Introducing the greatest talent ever to emerge from the orange bedroom at my parents house. I play guitar like.... well, like a guy playing guitar. I tickle ivories. I twiddle on the computer. I sometimes enjoy beans on toast for breakfast. And in the cracks between the eating, sleeping, laughing, crying, working, breathing experience that is my life there sometimes slips out songs like these.

Story behind the song
In August 2012 mum passed away. In November 2012 my community on Long Island was devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Sometime after February 2013, after I'd been back to the U.K. to commit mums ashes to their final resting place, I was walking along the front near Freeports Nautical Mile. Though much was still a huge mess, recovery had begun. It was a cold, winter dawn... and the sun came up. I couldn't help but reflect that no matter what life throws at us, the sun still rises. Helped along by the unexpected gift from a friend of a case of harmonica's, along came this song! As always, it is what it is, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to share.
