The Soul Binders have disbanded! Time and change took their toll, and everyone agreed it would be better to go their separate ways. Man, did we ever have a great time! Thanks to all our fans and supporters for making it real. What happened to the players? Steve Apollo now plays keys with Tandem Squared and Passenger, both blues and classic rock bands. Ringleader Tommy Baker spends more time with his motorcycle activities. Candi and Adam Long, Tom Dawson and Bill Jones are working on a new project called Soul Candi. Glenn Goodspeed is holding down the bass for Passenger and working on an old MG in his back yard. Jim Robbins is relaxing at home. January, 2009 - It is with sadness that I report that Tommy Baker died last year. Tommy was the leader of the Soul Binders, and he was justifiably proud of the band and its accomplishments over the years. He liked to say that it was one of the world's longest-running bands, since he started it in 1968. In my time with the band, I grew to enjoy the company and friendship of all the members who came and went in those five years, and none more than Tommy, who was always great fun to be around. -Glenn.
