Lolita Ray Swedish and English acoustic songs
Here you find some history of my songwriting kept. Back in the the day's I recorded my songs directly into my computer, often just a couple of days after I wrote them. The sound quality is not good. But each one of them reflekt the very special feeling I only have when a song is new.... You can also listen to some studiorecorded stuff with my two ex. bands here on soundclick: search for the bandnames Little Failures (English songs) and Lill-Britt Siv (Swedish songs). I write both in English and in Swedish wich is my native language. And when I write in English I try to use the language in my own way wich means it may not always be after the book... Most of the photos on this website are taken by Welsh photographer Rhys Jones. The others my myself. In november 2011 I released my first soloalbum in Swedish. Flickan av is. 10 songs of my own and three translations of Steve Earle. You can listen to a couple of tracks att myspace.com/lolitaray, and of course Spotify and iTunes, and if you want to order a copy, drop me a mail at sixstring97@yahoo.com Pax Lo

Lyrics
Lyrics and music September 8, 2002 He knew she was sad But he thought she was young She had to face troubles They soon would be gone She cried in the morning She cried in the night He never knew that She lost every fight The summer was dry In the end of July She left in the morning Without a goodbye Too many teardrops For one heart to cry The city was sleeping The sun on its way That morning she knew That she never could stay The train hit her hard The train hit her fast And there was no future And there was no past The summer was dry In the end of July She left in the morning Without a goodbye Too many teardrops For one heart to cry The train hit her hard The train hit her fast And there was no future And there was no past They phoned in the morning They told him she died Too many teardrops For one heart were cried They phoned in the morning They told him she died Too many teardrops For one heart were cried (photo: Rhys Jones)
