Rock, pop, country and contemporary Christian is my current aim, though my style can range from soft ballads to heavy metal.
Brief history: I've been writing songs since 1978, spanning various genres. Most tend to fall into the pop/adult contemporary category. For the past several years, I've turned my focus more to Contemporary Christian music; it's what I enjoy listening to, and it gives my music some real meaning and purpose ... at least to me ... and hopefully to those who listen to it. Looking back now, I see religious connotations in some of my older material, as well.

Lyrics
Set your sights on the prize, no second-guessing In troubled times, just realize, they might be blessings You know the hammer's going to fall, and it won't come easy You see the writing on the wall, and it don't look pretty No, it don't look pretty at all CHORUS: So hold on You've got to trust in God's great plan When you're sinking in the sand Just hold on, you're not alone So raise your arms to praise the Lord And when you find your Father's hand Just hold on (hold on, hold on) You turn your back against the wind, but it keeps on blowing Pushing you back, but you dig in, and just keep on going You know there's something up ahead, some kind of shelter You go where others fear to tread, and you will not falter No, you will not falter at all (CHORUS) REFRAIN: You got to believe, you got to believe The things you cannot see You've got to keep on, you've got to be strong And carry all the weary on the way (LEAD) You see the writing on the wall, and it don't look pretty (CHORUS) Hold on, hold on Hold on So, hold on
