THE AUDIO SKETCHBOOK
This is more about the journey than the destination. As home recording hobbyists, this is all about having a good time, sharing some laughs, and keeping this thing positive, not necessarily about the music that is currently posted. We've always made it a point to keep this project stress free and upbeat, this is fun time, and the recordings tend to reflect that. Glad you had a chance to drop by, kick back and have a listen, if there's anything you really like the downloads are free, thanks, enjoy!

Lyrics
Fear Not, Cyclops I. Polyphemus Theme (Intro) I don't need no-one to use me, I don't want no bloody circus. I adore my sheep, my fluffy pets, If you hurt my pets you will regret. What's this? Intruders, mortal thieves, Oh, dear Zeus, they're eating sheep! Little, Greek, brutal bastards, There will be no happy ever after. II. Dead Thieves I love my sheep and they love me, They ate my babies, the brutal thieves. I grabbed a pair of Greeks, I bit off their heads, I sealed the cave, I'm gonna eat the rest. My pet lambs! You dared to make a meal, One by one, I'll show you how it feels. Gonna chew ya slow, here you scream, Hope that father Neptune doesn't see, Eye for an eye, Dead Thieves. What's in this drink that you offer me? Fine Greek wine (concentrate), high potency. Here's a gift from me, let it come to pass, I like you Greek, I'm gonna eat you last! Repeat Chorus III. More Wine! I want another, I want another, I want another, Gimme More Wine! I like you Greek, do me a favor man, What's your name? Your name is nobody then, Name's nobody? Repeat Chorus Hey nobody, I'm Polyphemus, son of Poseidon, The cave is spinning round and round. Repeat Chorus I'll eat you last, puny f*****g mortal, The cave is spiining round and round. Eat you last, puny f*****g mortal, But the cave is spinning round and round.... IV. Polyphemus Theme Reprise (Blinded, The Escape) Dirty Greeks, you blinded me! Oozing mucous, seething pain, I'm gonna get you bastards, make you suffer, There's no escape, you'll be my supper. You're far more cunning than you look, You hid beneath my sheep and booked. There will be no happy ever after, With Neptune's wrath, will cause disaster. So long!

Luv that Guitar playing. Most beautiful vocals. Your vocal presentation is the best. You should have been an actor in movies. You have so much talent.

Now a cyclops song who would have thunk it. And in parts. Neat the whole format. Wit a beach lilt as well. This is good humour that is only possible the way it comes across with the music. Rather ingenious.

You did your homework on the lyrical story, crafted those lyrics masterfully and surrounded them with great music! Really neat idea for the challenge!
OH MY GODS THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT AND WONDERFUL SONG, MIKE!!!!! Homer would have been (IS?) so happy that you did him proud. Your take on the lyrics is pure genius as well as your outstanding vocal in presenting the message in such a delightful and exciting way! Plus, your comp instrumentation sets the stage for more - and wanting MORE MORE MORE of this most unique and classic song/production. There are not enough Stars or Words to truly acknowledge this Rockin' Greek Myth Masterpiece for the February 2013 CBC Song Challenge - and for the Ages of GREAT original music in any genre of Best of Best Songs. Thank you super musician and dear friend for this memorable tune, and the dl as well. PS: All of the Gods on Mount Olympus would have rated this song as 5 Myriad + Stars with no "Parental Advisory!" or XXX Rating - but maybe PG (Phenomenally Good!!!!!)

Feels like going back in time. This one should have suited the 70s challenge perfectly, but we are in another one. I like the enthusiasm and the mood in here. Punk with garageband atmospheres. I like the way you are coming back to the basic theme of the start, on the end. I don't hear anything Greek in here, but really enjoyed it. Good job!

Raw power and aggression, love that change at around 1:30 where it gets quieter and the tension builds up to 3:00 where it explodes again - great stuff. Gotta love those crunchy guitars!
