You mean Demond's Bio, right? O.K., Music has been such a part of my life that I literally started singing even before I could talk. Don't believe me? Ask my mother, she'll tell you and she's always been opposed to me playing music. I was three years old and knew all the lyrics to The Spinners "Games People Play". As a teen, I taught myself how to play guitar and synthesizer in order to make the unique and unusual songs that I had been writing in my head for years before come to life. For many more years, I tried unsuccessfully to find like-minded musicians in RI who, like myself, wanted to create new and exciting styles of music from scratch. Instead, I only kept running into people who either wanted to sound exactly like whatever big grunge or alternative band was around at the time or copy their favorite bands and players note for note. So instead of settling for the status quo, I learned how to work a sequencer so I could completely build the songs I wrote. No more searching for other musicians now; as long as I'm in RI, I will be doing my own songs on my own. Now that I'm fast approaching 50 and that I'm clearly not in touch with the mainstream, American Idol, nu-rap, nu-country and Beyonce dominated music scene, I've decided to just stick to what I've always been into and throw it all in a blender. I am evolving musically but I'm following my own path at the same time.

Lyrics
Picture Verse 1 Back in the day when I was just a little boy Back when I got stranded up here I would look through the family photo album And I would see your picture there I asked my mom “Where did he go?” She said “Well son, I just don’t know He joined the service not too long ago.” I hoped you would join us to stay You stayed away but at least I had your picture, did you have mine? Pre-Chorus My whole life could have been different if I wasn’t left behind So many questions on my mind Chorus Where did you go? Why did you leave? Didn’t you know? Did you believe? I needed you Verse 2 Back in the day I would go back to my hometown I would spend half the summer there At Grandma’s house your picture hung up on the wall I never saw you anywhere The Air Force kept you far away In Sundown Town my mom would stay You asked her to join you she said “No way” You helped a kid with special needs So close indeed and you even had his picture; did you have mine? Pre-Chorus My whole life could have been different if I wasn’t left behind So many questions on my mind Chorus Where did you go? Why did you leave? Didn’t you know? Did you believe? I needed you Pre-Chorus My whole life could have been different if I wasn’t left behind So many questions on my mind Chorus Where did you go? Why did you leave? Didn’t you know? Did you believe? I needed you Outro Did you have my picture? I needed you Why did you go away? I needed you Did you even miss me? I needed you Tell me when’s my birthday? I needed you
