catchy rock??? Listen for yourself.
Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
All I have read of 'Let Me Take You Down' is the intro...the first chapter, titled, 'I Heard Shots'. It's the police reports from Yoko to the door man at the Dakota. After reading that chapter I was DYING to write this...my song is from the door man's perspective. Enjoy...
Lyrics
I stand watch outside by the door is right where I should to be on a Monday night he just smiled and said nothing to me with his shoes tied tight I could see him, waiting gleefully He would wait all night he would sleep right here if the need be I heard shots and he fell away I heard shots I heard someone say I heard shots and from where I stand it felt so cold in the winter air you could see their car pull into sight eyes hidden under hair he would point for truth pull the trigger tight echo starts to share he walks circles then he walks away you're my hero now he just had to do it and I did somehow
