Blues. Used to busk. Thankyou for looking March 2021. Love/art/blues/Rob. So, musical diary
Pardon? How can I interview me? Some streets are better than others? Some highways are brighter than others. Time of day, find a state of mind, imagination, TV, 1920s. I write about love, lost or found, hopefully honestly inspired by love, and try to play better for that. When younger protested about behaviours on my radar, and of course, being a simple artist, surfing the great times I imagine I had in another life, or maybe one day this one!

Story behind the song
Story: World War One 1918. Apple Jack sends the pretend police a message from his trench. "Here's an insult..... All you big hero piggy bully boys can shove your sarcastic b*** women up your..... Cowards. I'll bet you use 'words per minute slander method' as part of your sex lives. Cowards. Invented a myth so you could sit on a world class pretend enemy. Stab me in the back in the morning, calling my consciousness at the same time, and claiming its my conscience. Then sit on my name contributing nothing but nasty in my direction all afternoon, whilst 'making yourselves beautiful' and popular. Then the temerity to actually condemn ME for it come the night. Really do hope the thing about you guys being wheelchair bound is not a hoax, you know, just another lie you cleverly put about, you know, huge joke, what "The Phillips Thinks'. Invented a myth to make a world class enemy out of the very visible (surfie?) nothing man you all hated all your lives for no reason. Easily be all better than that right? You are all sad sack tough guys agreeing with each other in a gang. True. THAT is true. My trench at dawn then? Or yours? Just let me know which one it is...."
