The Waters Edge is a modern/alternative Christian rock group from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1996, this band mixes together melodic tones and driving rhythms to create a new powerful sound. Our call is to bring light to the darkness. We will continue to play our music and share our lives with the people who need it. As Christians we are called to share the gospel with others and we feel that it leads us to all areas of the world. Music is the universal language and through music we can use our strengths and weaknesses to help others change their lives and start again in the right direction.

Story behind the song
"We had set Blue aside to work on new music for a while. But when we decided to record the first demo we knew we wanted to include this song on the cd. On the night before we recorded the demo I had to sit down and write the lyrics. I had an idea of what I wanted but had yet to write anything down. So I had Ryan play this song over and over again until everything just started to make sense in my head. After that, it just started flowing. Matt didn't have enough time to memorize the lyrics so while he was tracking his vocals he was holding this wrinkled piece of paper and singing the words for the very first time." ~ Brian Curtiss
