Blues. Used to busk. Thankyou for looking March 2021. Love/art/blues/Rob. So, musical diary
Pardon? How can I interview me? Some streets are better than others? Some highways are brighter than others. Time of day, find a state of mind, imagination, TV, 1920s. I write about love, lost or found, hopefully honestly inspired by love, and try to play better for that. When younger protested about behaviours on my radar, and of course, being a simple artist, surfing the great times I imagine I had in another life, or maybe one day this one!

Story behind the song
Story: It's 1912 in America's Deep South. Two hobos on the run from a gang of bullies discuss why they are the damn target. Apple Jack: "They seem be telling folk that the service for the Empire is theirs and we're the impostors." Lucky: "Yeah right. In the front trench digging a new one." Apple: "I've tried. I can't not loathe them the way they've loathed me for years anymore." Lucky: "I think one of their b*** es has a major lie going about us. It ain't pretty." Apple: "Revenge. Revels in it. Don't matter if the offense is fiction." Lucky: "Song is for the bastards who are 'obliged' to believe it without facing me, as 'knights'. Claim to be great guys and not cowards all in the one word annihilate us. Like 'sister', or 'Hitler', or 'Robert, or 'hero', or 'we'll love it', or 'doesn't want a police brother', etc...." Apple: "I know, it drips with cruelty and sarcasm and jealousy."
