One man singer-songwriter musician. Included here are songs written as far back as the late seventies, up to and including the present day. Four of the songs were recorded in the late 90's and make up an EP called Skies. Other albums include A Man Alone from 2002, and The World At Large from 2005. Since then, songs have been released singly as they've been completed. A new album is now available - Tales Of Love And Defiance (talesofloveanddefiance.com)

Story behind the song
A very early song from the late 70's or early 80's. I don't recall what it's about, if anything. This recording features no guitars, and a vocal that may be out in places, but has a charm about it that I think overrides any defects.
Lyrics
Sweet memories fade from my mind’s eye but the gentle scent of aroma fills the air, somewhere What in the world could happen to me if I choose to let you go, by and by Somewhere’s the sound that your laughter brings and it’s tearing my heart, all apart How could I sleep, through restless nights if I knew what I knew now, by and by If you only knew how I feel If you only knew how it feels to be so alone I had a dream my pain came true and I woke up to find you on my mind When will I know, a gentle touch if I say I won’t come back, by and by If you only knew how I feel If you only knew how it feels to be so alone We have lost all the worlds that we once shared it’s just the echoes they contain, that still remain Why should I give up another chance if I try to start again, by and by If I try to start again, by and by If I try to start again, by and by If I try to start again, by and by
