Story behind the song
I was practicing and listening to a lot of vocal jazz at the time, when "Fly Me To The Moon" came into my head. I suddenly though, "You can fly me to the moon...but that won't impress me." From there I just I just created a story about a woman who is telling a man that he can try all he wants to impress her, but she won't be satisfied. It's only a little bit autobiographical, but the rest is fictional.
