Story behind the song

This is a companion song to JBBQ's Asian song, ORIENTAL MEMORIES with both tunes featuring a similar Shakuhachi Melody.  However, with
different instrumental Solos (respectively, Piano and Sitar) and marked
variations of Backing, each song has its own distinctive musical nature.
For example, THE ORIENT EXPRESSED has a Malaysian song style called
Dangdut (fast even 8ths feel with pushes in the Bass).  Hence, two Asian songs with common but unique Oriental compositions
and arrangements.  And that is the genius of ancient/modern Oriental Music.  No two songs ever sound alike due to the brilliance of the instruments and techniques of the players/presentations.
