Story behind the song
I wrote this song when my mom passed in January. The pic is of her shortly before she died, and the eyes you see are my younger brother Eric's. The song was inspired by the feeling of being pushed to the threshold of sanity by multiple major life problems occuring all at once. I try to be optimistic, so I made sure to walk toward the sunshine by the end of the verse. -Draft
