Imagine if an early 90’s Future Sound of London had a love affair with the Knife yet lusted after Coil and grew up on equal parts Prince, Vangelis, Aphex Twin and Autechre. Eclectic? Perhaps. Inspiration sees no boundaries. One can’t help but notice a very cinematic experience omnipresent throughout the album that Hamlet attributes to his love of film scores. Heavy Is The Head That Wears The Crown delivers a conceptual journey through manipulated sounds and stripped down textures rich with emotional impact: an aural journey that once experienced can never be forgotten.
