Tommy Brandt is a gifted singer/songwriter who has spent the better part of the last ten years touring the country spreading his down home message of faith, hope, and love through music and stories about his own life. In that time he has become a leader in his field winning many ICMA (Inspirational Country Music Association) awards including “New Artist of the Year” in 2004, “Male Vocalist Of The Year” in 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010. This Florida boy has the unique distinction in his genre to have had his first 12 singles top the charts. Currently you can see him along with Andy Griggs, Bryan White and Buddy Jewell on the Faith, Family and Country Tour that he and his wife started this year. Many say he is the heart and voice of today’s Inspirational Country Music. Tommy’s newest album was just released and is receiving great reviews nationally. His latest project titled “Nuff Said” speaks for itself. Take a listen and then you’ll know why this is one singer you’ll want to keep an eye on.

Lyrics
Verse 1 Where the blacktop ends and the dirt begins and the pine trees grow so high Stood an old time farmhouse with a fifty two Ford outside Small town Georgia, big time dreams living from day to day I can still hear them old coon dogs as Daddy’d holler yippee-ki-ya Supper waiting on the table, Mamma ringing that dinner bell If you knew what’s good for ya Son, you’d better come running, well Chorus 1 That’s the way this country boy was raised, fried chicken and sweet tea was still ok We’d bow our heads and pray and thank the Lord for his amazing grace That’s the way this country boy was raised Verse 2 Dinner on the grounds right after church on Sunday afternoon Talking about how absurd, they’re gonna put a man on the moon Watching I love Lucy, Hee Haw, and Ironside on tv Kettle corn popping on the wood stove, black and white memories I can still hear Hank and Lefty on the radio by the bed Haggard, Jones and Patsy singing all night in my head Chorus 2 That’s’ the way this country boy was raised, a nickel for some gum with 4 cents change We’d bow our heads and pray, that we’d be more like Jesus and John Wayne That’s the way this country boy was raised bridge The flag still stood for freedom, and one nation under God and liberty and justice for us all Chorus 3 That’s the way this country boy was raised, prayin in our schools was still ok Proud to stand and say, I’m thankful to be living in the USA That’s the way this country boy was raised
