Story behind the song
I had written and recorded the same music bed but with diffrent lyrics about 12 years ago. i thought it started to sound like another song so I changed up the vocal melody and lyrics to come up with "A Mother's Day. All music and vocal by Gene Sr. Recorded at soundrecords.net Paradise CA.

When I met your mother she was smiling at me
A sparkle from her eye set my heart a glow
