I've been dabbling in songwriting for about 25 years, ever since I started playing in a band. In the past few years I've gotten a little more serious about it and I enjoy the the idea of creating something from my experiences. Whether personal or from an external source, I like to see my thoughts go from paper to a recorded product. I've been having a lot of fun trying to produce my own music. I'm not into performing my own music so much anymore, but I would like to see it get out there for others to hear.

Lyrics
chorus I can't love you anymore You give so much you make it hard to even the score There's nothing I could want, when you're standing by my side That's why I can't love you anymore verse 1 There's an oak tree in our yard we used to swing on Still as strong as my feelings inside You still wear that ring from twenty years ago You've never let down that heart of mine...that's why chorus I can't love you anymore You give so much you make it hard to even the score There's nothing I could want, when you're standing by my side That's why I can't love you anymore verse 2 Now the summers gone with another year behind That 'ol tree's still standing tall and proud I hear you humming while your workin' in the kitchen Your more then any man should be allowed...That's why chorus I can't love you anymore You give so much you make it hard to even the score There's nothing I could want when your standing by my side That's why I can't love you anymore bridge Your pretty smile is what makes my day That's why it's easy for me to say...that chorus I can't love you anymore You give so much you make it hard to even the score There's nothing I could want when your standing by my side That's why I can't love you anymore No, I can't love you anymore copyrite2004LarryLauer
