DA FORMULA
Describing himself as a "visionary" of Atlanta's new south, Farid's (fareed's) coveted gangsta/krunk style of production stems from the streets of the south and midwest. Raised in Detroit in the 80's, this young writer/producer/dj combines his turntablism, keyboarding, and sampling skills to fuse hip-hop, classical, and world musics. Though some would describe him as a novice, Farid views his 5 years of experience as a way to stay open to new styles and techniques which in his words are the "only way to do it". Working with underground artists and labels he hopes to showcase his version of atlanta's hip-hop on a global scale and change its industry with several forthcoming projects, including his group "DA FORMULA" .
