With their signature hard-hitting groove rock and instantly memorable songs, Portland's own Justin Hopkins is giving the folks a reason to drive in the rain. Originally started as a songwriting vehicle for singer/songwriter Justin Hopkins, the band and it's music, a smooth groove rock that takes you from the retro blues clubs of the seventy's to the best party you can remember, has been gathering both significant critical and fan praise in the band's hometown. The group finally took shape following the collaboration of guitarist Jeff Bethke and drummer Kyle Steele with Justin. Originally an acoustic based sound, recently added instrumentalists (Kyle Beale, Slide guitar/ Colin Hansen, tenor sax) have allowed the band to take on a more powerful, groove-laden sound reminiscent of classic acts from Steely Dan and The Police, to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Led Zeppelin.
