His debut release Sharkey’s Machine will be released May 25th on Babygrande Records (home also to Jean Grae, Canibus, Brand Nubian, Jedi Mind Tricks and others). One of the preeminent up and coming DJ's on the DC scene, Sharkey got his start as a founding member of the Elektra-signed group "The Crownsayers." He's since performed and produced with such heavyweights as Eminem, Mickey Petralia, Mario Caldato, Jr., Everlast, and Rick Rubin. Sharkey has most recently been performing with his group The Spark, supporting Wyclef Jean and the Black Eyed Peas.
