The two man production team led by XWuN aka Jimmy Banga and Yung Rizzy tha Don
Introduced to music greats Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Prince, Barry White and many more at a young age, XWuN and Yung Reign have been influenced to make classic music. Honing his skills on Playstations MTV Music Generator, XWuN taught himself the art of making beats at the tender age of 14. "I was always messin' around with my pops old keyboard and all his electronics an stuff cuz he was a DJ back in the day. In the days when a guy would just play records, hype up the crowd and make people dance. So one day I heard a neighborhood friend of mine blending mah old Run-DMC down with the king acapella tape with the beat of another song. At the time it was perplexing to understand how he did it... and i guess that sparked my interest in the ability to create. So when MTV Music Generator dropped in like 99-2000, I felt it was the thing i needed to be able to actually create my own music." After successfully learning the basics of music arrangement, XWuN introduced his young brother, Yung Reign to the craft and the two soon began collaborating to accomplish hip-hop instrumentals that had a sound of their own. "We was big into sampling any and everything. My sister used to work for Columbia records back in the day and would come home with CDs for my pops. Before he even got to listen me and Reign would go through it looking for samples to throw in our beats. Listening to those old beats now, they sound like trash but those experiments helped us reach the core understanding of chopping samples." "Right now we just working on establishing the name and lettin' these rappers know that if you really serious about this rap shit you gotta have original production, and we got that. Club tracks, street tracks whateva- we got it. We NOT doin dance-pop records but hey if you need it, for the right price, we can do it."
