Artist picture
Lake Fork Verne and his banjo. Original country and Americana songs. Songs of yesteryear, growing up during the great depression 1930's and the way things are
Just me and my banjo...writing and singing about how things used to be long ago in the 30;s and 40's and how those experiences affect today. I started out wanting to get on record these stories and songs for my grandchildren; but after doing it for a while, others have expresses interest so we are recording and putting them out there.

Lyrics
Should I? Copyrighted by: Verne Garrison, March 25, 2012, Valley Park, Mo Banjo Tuned E, Capo 1, Key of: A A D Should I sharpen my razor A For the next morning shave? E Or should I just let it be A And go off....and mis-behave? Should I skip my morning work-out Hit the donut shoppe instead? No one will know the difference But I will, have it in my head Guess I better stay on the narrow As I have done during the past days For every lick, I might miss I will pay in so many ways So I guess I'll sharpen the razor For that next morning shave Cause if I don't do it I will pay for it in so many ways Guess I better stay on the narrow.....
