O.G. Style is not just your average rapper, he's known for his unique voice and clear form of speech. He's a man of the streets, intimately familiar with its codes and its violence, but still, O.G. Style is an incredibly intelligent and deliberate man, and holds himself with a regal air above the pettiness which surrounds him. Couple his true-life hardship with his knack for addictive, syrupy hooks, it's clear that O.G Style has exactly what it takes to show us all how real playa's do real thangs! One of the first Houston rapper's to gain national prominence, lets reminisce back to 1991, O.G. Style enters Billboard at 68 with a bullet and with no promotions for the hip-hop classic, [I Know How to Play'em]. Now here it is 2004 - towering lyrical control, mastered delivery, royalty personified and still playing 'em. 2004 sure proved to be his year. Signed to a new label, Hard Edge Entertainment, O.G. Style will release yet another head banger for the streets. 10 years later and back with a cocky street savvy attitude O.G. Style returned (solo artist) with a new label, Zone Entertainment, to produce "I Still Know How To Play 'Em". Now, in 2004, he's signed with Hard Edge Entertainment and ready to drop a new CD entitled "Return Of Da Game". This new CD is laced with production by O.G. Style himself and well-respected Houston based producers. 12 brand new tracks, 14 if you count the two bonuses screwed versions of 2 hot joints on the album. The albums single "Gangsta", vows to thrust the incredible mic wrecker back on the scene in a command sort of way! The album, filled with truth and real life ordeals, sounds like one greatly narrated movie and has a host of guest appearances by rap veterans. O.G Style one of Houston's pioneers in the game has paid his dues and now its time to collect! He brought you War of Wordz the freestyle saga that gave a local free stylist a chance at a record deal. He brought you War of Wordz the freestyle saga that turned Houston inside out with hip-hop culture. O.G. Style, is also the CEO of DaZone OnLine (www.dazone-online.com), an exciting new outlet for local artist to bring their music to the public and promote hip-hop in Houston.

Story behind the song
I've Been in the game for a while, dating back to 1991 when I entered the scene part of the Rapalot Family! I drop street credible hit's like "I Know How To Play'em" and " Sittin In The Harris County Jail" which appeared on the O.G. Style album and then was later used as a intro to a song by lable mates The Convicts! Rapper 50 cent pops up on the scene and now it's cool to be a gangsta in rap again. This Song is aimed at those Fake Rappers!
