Hey everybody! We're a local rock band from Downriver, MI. The Dirty Stews began after all three of us had played in numerous line-ups, many of which were short of spectacular. However, after a few bold suggestions and one solid jam session, The Dirty Stews decided that the different unique styles that each of us brought to the table gelled together so perfectly that it'd have been a shame not to rock the world to our full potential! Thus, we formed The Dirty Stews in January 2011, and we can't wait to show you what we're made of!

Lyrics
Please, can you stop all the noise? I'm starting to hear the air through the cracks In the foundation. Please, God. Can you see me breathing? Gasping for your strength... Please, God Why can't you see my eyes bleeding? I'm dying for your light. And as the rocks fall on our heads, We remember the days when we were calmed by a soothing sound Now all we hear is silence so loud. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. We can't sing a single word Our mouths are loaded guns And we're at a stand-off with everyone. Burn, tear it down Sell the bricks. When we're done I want nothing left. It's true we turned frustration into targets overnight, We're burned down and dismantled everything on sight. You stood up and gave a speech more eloquent than I, But when it came down to brass tax, Your words lost all their power. He flexed his muscles 'cept the one inside his head, Left the elephant in the room so long it wound up dead. Well, I don't know why you think you can take cheap shots for free. You can walk in and out of my life, But YOU. CAN'T. WALK ON ME.
