A parody of The Rolling Stones' Brown Sugar
I've been creating all kinds of songs for over 30 years, but I never sell any of them. I try to give them away to charities that have musician spokespeople, but
Story behind the song
The Karaoke host asked me to write a parody about the RV park, & this is it. The jerk who was in charge of the kiddie pool music kept playing the YMCA song every 10 minutes. The raccoons did eat dog bisquits out of our hands by the hot tub. The bobcats didn't get that close, but they were not very far away. There was even a mountain lion in the immediate area, but no one ever got attacked.
Lyrics
Old fart's RV bound for Thousand Trails,
Five miles an hour, just like driving snails,
Wheezing geezer keeps his dentures bright,
For line-dancing singles, Saturday night.
Hot tubbers,
Them bubbles really crank,
Hot tubbers,
It's like a lobster tank! All right!
Folks getting old, but they'e young at heart,
Scooting 'round the park in a cool golf cart,
Grandkids know their pool's cold as ice,
And they're gonna hear that dumb song more than twice.
( Chorus )
( Instrumental )
Awwww, get down! But don't drown!
( Chorus )
I'll bet your Momma just retired here,
Raccoons & bobcats, they have no fear,
I'm no singer, but I wrote this song,
And I don't care that this last line's just way too dang long....
( Chorus )
I said yeah, yeah, yeah, wooo!
Them bubbles, them bubbles really crank,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, wooo!
It's like a, it's like a lobster tank,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, wooo!
That last line, that last line really stank!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, wooo!
