Story behind the song
In some Eastern cultures, the act of a physical sexual release is considered to be the clouds (the buildup) and the rain (the release). This lyric was designed to show that if you are going to build it up ... then it needs to rain
Lyrics
Storm Clouds Need To Rain
(Verse)
I don’t know how long that I can take another day
Really don’t care for the way she makes me feel
Build up of the clouds but she will stop before the rain
Leaves me hangin’ on the edge, my senses reel
What do you do when you’re not through?
Blue anticipation.
Her oral vacuum ties you in a knot
She pulls away before you reach your
Precipitation
Gimmie a hand here …
(Chorus)
Storm clouds need to rain!
Storm clouds need to rain!
Storm clouds need to rain!
(Verse)
Ever since I brought her home the temperature’s been risin’
Heat index … wet bulb bout to blow it’s top
Breakin’ records with her will to stretch for the horizon
Toes are curling, about to go, but then she stops
How do you make her know when you
Can’t vocalize it?
Waiting for the signal, lined up at the gate
Just another moment … behind your eyes
The lightning flashing
She knows by the tension …
(Chorus)
Storm clouds need to rain!
Storm clouds need to rain!
Storm clouds need to rain!
