Written in 1983 after watching a "Motels" video on MTV. The song was "Only The Lonely", and the singer was Martha Davis. It was a black and white video, but her lips were a sultry red. My band at that time was "DEE-HART". My friend and band mate/singer, Keith Apgar, passed away in 1992. But his spirit lives on in our recordings.
