Inspired by life's little moments, I'm just a Maine mom reaching out through words and music. My passion is songwriting and my goal is to 'strike a chord' with the write collaborators and/or artists who will want to bring my songs to the forefront. This is a new (and yet lifelong) experience for me... it's taken me a few years to search for someone to collaborate with, and the perfect fit was right in my backyard. I am forever thankful - to my friend and choir director Doug who believed in my music and worked with me to bring the perfect melody to "Joseph..." and to my family for not thinking I'm totally insane for following a dream I've had since my teenage years... and to my Lord for continuously teaching me how to grow.

Lyrics
It took a while for the news to sink in His woman was with child but the child wasn’t his A quiet marriage to protect a tarnished name The life he pictured would be starting out in shame So Joseph walked away A man with morals strong, a simple carpenter Confusion stirred his soul, while his heart held onto her In the breezes on a hill, lost in thought he strayed Seeking solace in the starless night he prayed As Joseph walked away Heaven whispered, you are blessed by God’s Plan Mary brings into the world the Son of Man Take her hand Purpose poured into Joseph’s beating heart The Blessed Child’s birth was where their lives would start The time unfolding to the glory of this day Was filled with trials but still his faith remained And as dawn approached Joseph walked away With Mary and the Babe With Mary and the Babe
