Lyrics
well you see there boys and girls back over there back down yonder there used to be a cornfield (uh) and some like summer days like this i always go on down there to that there cornfield it's not a cornfield anymore mm mm it had to turn into a parking lot a parking lot for what you ask? well if you just go down yonder a few more miles you'll see a walmart well that y'allm y'allmart y'all y'allmart wall walmart stands that walmart stands down on yonder why, there used to be a cherry field and we used to go eat cherries and eat corn all god damn day till they put up a fence that's when they said no you can't go in there any mo' i grew up in this city my whole life and i have seen nothing but decayed, decrepit old people fondling the youth of the day hello, my name is jimmy i'm from michigan and i just want to say that this, this is great a great place to live and because there's this guy down the street and he likes to throw rocks at me and i don't like it it brings me to closer to my loved ones because i fear for my life every day and that fear drives my love and i can't be more more grateful for that no i can't because i don't want to die sometimes i like to get on my motor scooter and i like to go up the local store and i usually have about 5 dollars in loose change and i like to go up there some times i take a really long time in line a really long time because i dont care, i'm old i'm retired i have time to waste. the old man, he's got time to waste and you come over here he'll hit you in the face with his cane he knows what to do when he gets to the devil he's gonna get to you he's going to eat your cornfield and going to destroy your whole f*** ing land because you fail to understand the power, the glowing, the width of his hand leave your boot at the dock your dog got old dont do what your told and always grow old you'll grow old in this old harbor town and when you get there you're going to go into the ground there's this kid across the street and he always likes to throw snowballs at me in the winter time and now i've had enough i got a petition and i'm gonna have everyone sign it.
