Story behind the song
This was recorded while I was living on the streets during one of the coldest winters to hit the midwest. I had been without sleep for about 2 days, and was at a friend's house waiting for my girlfriend's parents to go to work. We recorded about an hour's worth of material, a lot of which never made it on any releases. All of it was very dark and some was just so wierd that it didn't fit into what I was trying to do at the time, which was dark rock/metal.
Lyrics
Don't You Wish Griffey/Griffey copyright 1992 I look into your eyes and I see forever can you see forever in my eyes too? Don't you wish that sometimes we could just fly away? Don't you sometimes wish that we could say goodbye to this cruel old world that brings us so much pain and takes away the flame as we connect in time I can see you in my site we will go tonight to the place where there's no pain and nobody will drive us insane like the kids awake at night with the flu...
