REDSTA 44 BIOGRAPHY Redsta 44, real name; Robert Forest Devon Woods Jr, was born October 13, 1980 in Carthage, Il. At the age of seven, RED moved to Milwaukee, WI with his Mother and Father. Growing up in a city full of talent waiting for opportunity, RED was always on top of business taking advantage of all in his path. In 2003 RED took 1st place in the Hip Hop category for, "The USA Songwriting Competition," with his song entitled “Why Does Life.” RED also had two other songs place in the top ten that very same year. In 2004 and 2005 RED had three songs in the top ten, making it 3 successful years in a row. In 2007 RED continued winning competitions including an award from the International House of Poetry while being the first Hip Hop act to win a showcase at The Milwaukee Art Museum. In 2008 RED won the MySpace and Sony Music competition for a slot on the official soundtrack for the motion picture “Stomp the Yard.” RED has performed at hundreds of events and has been the opening act for mainstream artists such as DJ Rectangle, Bad Boy recording artist 112 and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. RED has also received local airtime on Milwaukee’s hottest radio stations with his songs entitled, “Tongue-Twist & Mil-Rok.” With a raspy, rapid delivery accompanied by harmonics and melodies, RED presents music from the latest album entitled, "T.I.M.E. (This Is Me Everyday)" Motopsychoz very own and brewed in Milwaukee - Redsta FortyFour ladies and gentlemen.
