I wanted to do an instrumental song with a Santana rockish type vibe.
Mix Notes:
Recorded & mixed in SONAR 3 @ 24/44 with heavy use of UAD-1 plugins at mixdown 1176LN, Pultec, Cambridge & Dreamverb. Used DOD (Roomy & Raw)
!Verse1, Verse Fill In 1 & 2, !Chorus and various other fills @120BPM for drum track. Percussion tracks (tambourine & congos) were made up from pre-made loops. Guitars & bass were tracked live.
Used Voxengo Soniformer 2.1, Pultec-Pro EQ and Waves L2 in Sound Forge 7 for the final master and 256bps mp3 creation.
