so what the hell is alternative rock? a garage band? an unusual rock sound? Nirvana? maybe just no-commercial music? Matador Records? Bah, Bullshit! Anyway, who cares? Labels are just labels, and music is emotion. Sadness, anger, hate, happiness, melancholy, everything that we fell from bleed heart’s core is emotion and turns into chords and lyrics. Starting from this idea, born in Curitiba/PR Brazil a rock band called Laura’s Problem. The Laura’s Problem started in 2001 and since that day, some good and bad things happened in the lives of this group formed nowadays by Rety (vocal, guitar) & Qué (drums), sisters that formed Whir, considered by most people the main feminine band from the south of Brazil; Rafa (guitar, vocal) and Wlad (bass, vocal). LP started their actives and since this date is living the rock n’ roll way of life, playing in sold out concerts, festivals and even a concert besides and you know us by the Trail Of Dead, one of the biggest Laura’s influences. The band released a 7” EP thru Filth Ear Records (Belgian) called “Null & Void”, which shows the first Laura’s Era, with some emotional guitar songs. Now in 2004 the band is self-releasing “About Bleeding”, a cd-ep with 4 new songs expressing the new (or just another) face of the band’s sound, with powerful hard-emotional-rock songs. No hypes, no labels and no ‘isms’, just emotion straight to your heart coming from our rock music, that’s the point. Listen it loud, feel, cumm on and let it bleed.
