Story behind the song
A long story, we were on a patio having a pint, and this little puppy was totally sucking up to customers for attention. We were amused, and provided improv lines to the dog... "Praise me! Praise me like the puppy you know i am!". It was pretty funny, and next thing you know its a catch phrase. K of course, is also a fan of praise (and very deserving i might add) and so used said phrase not unregularly. We joked that it should become our first song, and on her birthday I recorded a phone conversation of ours, goading her when necessary for some good vocal lines. I already had the music, and to my amazment I edited the vocals into the tune and they were perfect. Praise indeed.
