Story behind the song
This solo was a little different. I used a sound on my trusty old Korg A3 and just used the S-Gear Cabinet and Delay. The A3 sounds great through the FX loop of an amp but pretty brittle and fizzy direct in. The speaker sims were the only let down in another brilliant piece of kit.
This is where the S-Gear plugin comes in. I couldn't find a S-Gear amp sound like this so my path went Guitar ...> Korg A3...> Mixer (flat eq) S-Gear. I used the Jackal amp and Dog Solo 1 cabinet and delay.
I used an Ibanez USA Custom back pickup (Duncan Trembucker I think)
