Story behind the song
This is one of those core cycles of guitar riffs that have stood the test of time. I have played these riffs for countless hours for my own enjoyment. Well, its time to share! :-) In a way, thats how this all started just me playing guitar for hours on end and having a great time. The drum parts were inspired by the originals from Doug Lambert in Des Moines, IA. Equipment: Once again, my red Line 6 Variax 300 guitar through a PODxt Live. When I first got the guitar it reeked of fish and had a suspicious greasy film all over it. The guitar was so excellent however, there was no way I could have sent it back! It took me a couple of weeks of cleaning, polishing and TLC to finally get the smell to go away. The drums and bass were done in Reason with some drum samples from a Korg X5D. All recording and sequencing was done in Digital Performer on a Mac. Artwork by Eric Gapstur
