First track on a three song demo I recorded (on vocals) with the band "In Error" somewhere around 2001. We listened to WAY TOO MUCH Tool and Mudvayne.
A place I upload demos, snippets, and other stuff.
Black 13 is a project I've been picking away at for a few years. Varying from progressive to power metal, the music has a lot of focus on melodic content. As usual though, I've always been drawn towards more aggressive and technical music, so there will be the expected elements I've always incorporated into the music I make.

Story behind the song
Around 2000-2001 or so I found a band looking for a vocalist. I joined, got a tape of the songs, and started trying to write lyrics. Within weeks of joining we had a few songs finished, so we booked a day at the in-house studio at Priority Music with Joe Clapp (from Corland Studios) engineering. Entire demo was recorded in a matter of hours, vox were all done as single passes. No overdubs, comps, or editing at all. Unfortunate, because I hit some real good clams in there, but we kept em due to time. I feel bad, because it was otherwise a pretty good demo recording, and I feel my vocals drag it down quite a bit. But it's one of the few examples I have of me singing clean vocals.
