Hi! Thanks for tuning in! My name is Marc and I'm a devoted guitar player for about a decade now. I'd like to use this channel to present my music to a wider audience. Albeit my musical roots are metal and hard rock, I like to take a more experimental approach to music and do not necessarily stick to the rules of one genre. I play all the guitars and bass and wrote all the parts for the drums and synths. I hope you like what you hear! The songs you currently find here are all part of a growing album I'm currently working at. I add new songs whenever I finish them, which is usually about every month, depending on my schedule. My recording gear was updated during the process and my abilities as a producer somewhat evolved. As a result the later pieces are more refined than the rougher earlier recordings. Once everything is done I will release the album as a free download! Enjoy! For higher audio quality visit my channel: Please visit my channel, too :)

Story behind the song
To my mind the 1967 Chevrolet Impala is one hell of a classy car. I wanted to make a song that was influenced by this fine automobile. What better to build a song about a car around a driving riff? So I came up with the driving main riff. Rock Organs and big band like brass give a little 60s/70s feel to it. While preserving the main flavor of the beginning, I wanted the song to take the listener to a couple of different places, like a car would do. So I added the soft acoustic breakdown and the oriental and jazzy solos later in the song. Finally the song becomes full circle when - after a shredy breakdown - the main riff jumps in again. Please listen to this song with headphones. You will be able to hear a lot more details. Please enjoy this tune! :)
