Xenon comprises of four musicians. In fact, Xenon has always been the quintessential four-piece band perhaps this has something to do with the symmetry of four rockers giving their best on stage. While the band has seen numerous line-up changes in the past three years, some of them including Mumbai’s finest musicians, the current line-up is the steadiest. Over the last few years, Xenon has experimented with a lot of genres as the members strived to find their identity, and have now settled on one Melodic Metal. They have composed six songs that were recorded recently. They plan to release an EP by the year end or early next year. Xenon became popular initially by covering songs of a very special band Iron Maiden. The band effortlessly belts out songs by the legendary band, and it is a treat to watch them do justice to these songs. They also cover bands like Judas Priest, Queensryche, Deep Purple, Van Halen, Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Black Sabbath, U2, Joe Satriani, and Yngwie Malmsteen, to name a few.
