As a Young girl in Nigeria, at the tender age of four, Hassanah Iroegbu began speaking Pidgin and singing along with classic West Indian and African artists on the Reggae saturated airwaves of Radio Jos. This musical experience planted the seed to start composing and performing. She has lived and studied in places such as California, Hawaii, and New York to even farther distances like New Zealand and Nigeria. Drawing on this diversity of cultural influences and experience, Hassanah concocts unexpectedly fresh, crafty melodies and deep yet catchy lyrics. With a powerful blend of Urban sound, angelic vocal style and the combination of the best of R&B Jazz and Reggae, Hassanah’s music delivers a great musical impact and leaves audiences captivated.
