I am a musician and songwriter (primarily guitar and mandolin, but with amateur forays into banjo, fiddle, concertina, percussion and keyboard), jammer and jam host, recording engineer, producer, studio mole and occasional performer. When I perform solo, I'm hank49. When friends accompany me, we're hank49 and Loose Canon. Loose Canon is an ever shifting assembly of fellow musicians including Tom Edwards, Mitch Prevatte, Brian Chaney, Kevin Chaney, Lena and Jason Redding, Bronson Shanahan, Robert Darlington, Dave Eske, Johnny Decker, John O'hara, John Seay and more.

Story behind the song
Everyone says that you can't be in two places at once. But most of us are most of the time. Audio production by Bob Bauer, Jason Redding, and Michael Redding.
Lyrics
REALLY GONE VERSE 1: Wake up, let’s get snappy Nose to the grind Bake up, let’s get happy I can’t remember what was on my mind Make up some bull crappy Tell ‘em on the phone Ain’t gonna work today and I’m on my way Man I’m really gone VERSE 2: OK, let’s get with it Fruit on the vine Hooray, let’s go pick it You never know what we might find Today in that thicket Could be your secret song The time is high but if you let it slide Man it’s really gone BRIDGE: Every night, every day Just want to get away But every time or two I’m laying next to you Everything’s OK Let’s be clear, though I’m standing here Right on your arm You think that I should hear you, I’m right there near you But I’m really gone VERSE 3: Back up, ‘cause I been thinkin’ Of everything I thunk Packed up the ol’ Lincoln Like a leaving trunk Jacked up, and I ain’t blinkin’ Until the Free State line Been too wrong, been too long And now I’m really gone BRIDGE: Every night, every day Just want to get away But every time or two I’m laying next to you Everything’s OK Let’s be clear, though I’m standing here Right on your arm You think that I should hear you, I’m right there near you But I’m really gone INSTRUMENTAL VERSE: VERSE 4: Last week I was drinking In the Blue Saloon It’s a pig sty but the barmaids wink All I remember’s a shine on the moon No lie, it was just like heaven Until the tab came home AM at a Seven-Eleven Man, I was really gone
