I found this song on a cassette. I transferred it to Digital using a boombox to my PC. It was originally recorded on a 4 Track Portastudio.

I've been a all round guitarist, singer songwriter for over 35 years now. In September of 2000, I was disabled in a near fatal automobile accident. I lost the ability to use my left hand. I could no longer play, sing, write or walk. After 7 year the use of my left hand suddenly came back. I can also walk a bit with help. I am just starting to play again, but there won't be anything new for awhile. I am going to clean up some old recordings I made from the 70s to the 90s. I will submit them here as a history of my life in music. I hope you like them. Thank you all so much. I love you all, Wayne, (Blueslogic) (2003)

Story behind the song
I wrote this when I was very afraid. I was trying to write a song of hope. I don't know if it came out that way. I hope this helps anyone who is going through a tough time. I hope you enjoy it.
Lyrics
No More Sad Songs The man on the radio, said please stay tuned After this next message, I've got some real news Late last night, a man came home and he cried He prayed to God, keep his wife alive So for tonight, there's gonna be a little change There'll be, no more sad songs, for awhile Just songs of hope, to help him raise a smile There'll be, no more sad songs, for awhile We've got to show him that we care And let him know, he's not alone out there We've got to show him that we care And let him know, he's not alone out there So there'll be, no more sad songs, for awhile Just songs of hope, to help him raise a smile This gentle man needs all your prayers We've got to show him that we care And let him know, he's not alone out there Wayne Whiteside, Copyright December 28,1992
