An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Story behind the song
When loves just not meant to be!
Lyrics
This one is very new. It is a co-write with a female lyricist I know. Working title is "Love For A Season" You came in on the Autumn wind So refreshing after Summer sun We fell for one another faster Than a bullet from a gun You couldn't wait to get to know me As Autumn's leaves fell all around Leaving their multicolour patchwork quilt In piles on the hard'ning ground We spent all the time together We would never be apart We swore we'd love forever Hold each other always in our hearts But then the passion faded And my darkest fears came true As Winter came I realised I'd have to spend it without you It was love for just a season We thought it suited us both well Yet it was not the Autumn Rain But my bitter tears that fell As the season's colours changed so fast Our love changed from new to old Like the freezing breath that I exhaled The love you had for me grew cold Then you weren't there to lean on You weren't there to smooth my frown I had to face life all on my own As the blinding snows came down It was love for just a season For far more than just a day But as Winter bared her teeth You upped and went away Words by Daryl P Hall & Kelly Louise Brown Copyright BrownHall Music
