An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Story behind the song
Good girl falls in love with a bad boy
Lyrics
1. In a little hick town, just before the bend goes around lived a girl next door Well she took up with a boy, who used love as a decoy He was bad to the core He offered a little danger, from being wrapped up in her manger Some said she was love struck He was a rebel without a cause, never took time to pause He always rode his luck Despite her friend's advice, she thought he was really nice He held her heart in his hands He was bitter and twisted, Angry and tight fisted She wasn't really part off his future plans C. He was a hard headed man, but he was ruggedly handsome She was a head strong girl, who knew how to get her way Their love committed the crime, of holding the other to ransom Could their love still survive, in the cold light of day 2. Well to know surprise, there were tears in her eyes The first time he lit out He said he couldn't stick the pace, there was too much to face Needed some time to think about it But despite his hardened shell. it wasn't hard for him to tell She had crept under his skin And like a fugitve on the run, being without her was no fun He needed to turn himself in Well that look on her face, her non judgemental embrace How could her turn his back on that She offered him redemption, from his sinful convention With her he knew were he was at
