Story behind the song
The song 'Radiation Tune' was written by brother and I several years ago. It was
written with the spirit of Reverend Gary Davis in mind, consistent with a blues folk feel.
The recent disaster in Japan prompted us to release it now.
Lyrics
Radiation Tune
Sitting on my door step
watching the sunrise
radiation brings
tears to my eyes
we just had a war
not many survived
the lucky ones
have already died.
turn on the radio
I get destruction disco
turn on the t.v.
Im just a talk show junkie
sat for an hour
not a sound to be heard
no rats no roaches
no children no birds.
runnin out of water
and food to eat
my clothes are all raged
got no shoes on my feet
how I go on
I can't tell you why
I'd take my own life
but Im afraid to die
here come some strangers
and they're carrying guns
should I wave hello
or just turn and run
quick just light lighting
there was almost no pain
got a bullet in my heart
and one in my brain
before I pasted on
I heard someone say
cut off the legs to eat tonight
and throw the arms away
band the bomb,
band the bomb
band the bomb,
band the bomb
band the bomb, band the bomb
band the bomb
band the bomb, band the bomb
band the bomb ,band the bomb
band the bomb
band the bomb
band the bomb
