Hello - I'm Bobby Nichols. I'm a singer/songwriter/musician/performer. Right now I'm trying to hone my skills as a songwriter while trying to maintain everything else. I live in Northeastern Wisconsin because I was born and raised here. It gets cold in the winter, but not real hot in the summer. There is anything that can bite you and kill you, and there aren't really any natural disasters to speak of. It is my dream to make it into the fold and be able to make enough money from songwriting where I could live a decent life without starving. This way I could be successful and still be able to stay out of the tabloids.

Story behind the song
This song started out as a guitar riff to a click track. Whiskey got the best of me came to mind, and Jodie and I decided to have fun with it.
Lyrics
Whiskey Got the Best of Me ©Jodie Lee/Bobby Nichols I was goin' off the deep end, ready for the weekend, and glad that it was Friday night Went to be a star down at Smokey Joe's bar, drawn in by those neon lights Singin' Karaoke and shootin' pool, checkin' out the women and cuttin' loose Hangin’ with my friends and havin’ the time of my life Then my buddy started lining up those shots on the bar We were slammin' them down, and I took it too far Chorus: I think the whiskey finally got the best of me I blame it on Mr. Daniels, and on Tennessee I don't know how I woke up next to her My head is spinning and my wallet hurts and I think the whiskey finally got the best of me I woke up to a strange face; Guess this must be her place. I wish I would have woke up alone Nothin' looks familiar, I don't know what I did here, and I don't know how I'm gonna get home 'Cause there's a padlock on the door, and it looks to me like we're on the top floor I'm a wanted man, and she's lookin' like she's out on parole I got even worse when she smiled at me I feel like I'm in Stephen King's "Misery" Chorus One shot, two shot, three shot, and four I wish I had a shotgun to blow a hole in this door! Chorus
